On-the-Cheap
$15 a night water, sewer and 30 amp electric ($30 without the Golden Age Passport) 8199 County Rd 436, Princeton, TX 75098 Verizon: Wifi & phone worked great! This is a COE (Corp of Engineers Park). We stayed there in April 2014 and the day use areas were closed because they are in a drought and the lake was very low. It was an okay park especially for the discounted price with picnic tables, grill and fire rings at each site. The concrete pads need some repair and mowing needed to be done. There were also tent campers. The COE has other parks on this lake. One or two of them have 50 amp but not sewer (dump station available). We selected this park so we could do some laundry. I did a load the first night with no problems. The next morning I started just the dryer and it kept throwing the circuit breaker. My husband kept resetting it and finally went to tell them there must be a problem. It was a Saturday and unlike a regular RV park no one worked on weekends to fix it. Nice views and walking if you enjoying being around water. Note: we do carry an adaptor cord for 30 amp hook-ups.

What a great set up. This is close to our home and just might give a try. We are still waiting to go on our first outing since we are fixing some things.
